Erasmus+ accreditation in adult learning


Project Objectives:
1. Development of Andragogical Competences of the Centre’s Staff
The project aims to develop the andragogical skills of specialists working in adult education and psychological support.

2. Improving the Quality of Psychological Support for Vulnerable Groups
The project aims to strengthen the professional competences of specialists working with vulnerable adult groups — individuals who have experienced trauma, stress, social isolation or migration.

3. Strengthening Social Cohesion and Care in Ida‑Virumaa
The project seeks to enhance the region’s social resilience by developing the competences of specialists working with diverse adult groups, including people with fewer opportunities, migrants, unemployed individuals and emotionally vulnerable learners.

4. Expanding International Cooperation and Professional Exchange
The project aims to strengthen international partnerships and broaden professional development opportunities for the centre’s staff.

Expected Results of the Project:
1. Development of Andragogical Competences of the Centre’s Staff
• staff develop facilitation skills and strategies for motivating adult learners;
• staff strengthen their ability to adapt training to the emotional and cognitive needs of adults;
• a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment is established in the centre.

2. Improving the Quality of Psychological Support for Vulnerable Groups
• specialists begin applying trauma‑informed approaches in their work with vulnerable adults;
• the centre expands its set of psychological‑support tools within the context of adult education.

3. Strengthening Social Cohesion and Care in Ida‑Virumaa
• specialists increase their capacity to support adults in complex life situations;
• adults’ motivation for learning and participation in community life strengthens.

4. Expanding International Cooperation and Professional Exchange
• the centre strengthens cooperation with European partners and increases participation in professional exchange;
• staff acquire modern psychological and andragogical methods and adapt them to local needs;
• international opportunities for specialists and learners expand;
• the quality of the centre’s services improves through the integration of European best practices.

Group Learning Mobilities
As part of the accreditation, group learning mobilities will be organised for adult learners enrolled in our courses (announcements can be found in the Courses section).

Objectives of the Group Learning Mobilities
The group learning mobilities aim to broaden the international experience of adult learners, strengthen their psychological resilience, develop social and life competences, and enhance their motivation for learning and participation in community life. The mobilities serve as a tool for integrating European best practices into the centre’s work.

Expected Results of the Group Learning Mobilities 
Participants are expected to strengthen their emotional self‑regulation skills, increase their confidence and ability to cope with stress, expand their social and life competences, and enhance their motivation for learning and civic engagement. The centre will gain opportunities to integrate European approaches into adult education and expand its international cooperation.
